The legendary Cummins diesel option will take you to the next level. This 6.7L I6 turbo diesel pushes out 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Finally, if you want the most bang for your buck, the 6.7L I6 HO Cummins turbo diesel supplies 420 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque to take on the toughest jobs and pull the heaviest loads with ease.
Cargo and Towing
The RAM 3500 can carry impressive loads in the bed and still pull serious weight to get the job done. Available packages let you get the most out of its towing capacity while making pulling heavy loads safer and easier than ever before. Depending on your engine choice, you can pull weights from 18,000 lbs to 37,000 lbs.
The 6.4L HEMI can carry a payload of 7,680 pounds and pull up to 18,210 pounds when fully equipped. The standard Cummins 6.7L ups the ante to 22,660 pounds towing capacity, and the 6.7L HO Cummins enables you to tow a massive 37,090 pounds when it’s fully equipped with the 30K Direct Mount 5th wheel hitch and other equipment.
Space and Comfort
The first thing you’ll notice when you start the engine is how quiet the cabin is, even when you choose the largest engine option. Luxury isn’t usually a feature you expect in a work truck, but the RAM 3500 delivers. The standard Tradesman trim includes a 5″ touchscreen infotainment system, a four-speaker sound system, and an AC system to keep you chilled.
